SisuSoul

SisuSoul is a vocalist and songwriter based in Uppsala, Sweden, who creates her songs by improvising. Whether it's live with musicians or when she creates songs alone with a microphone and a beat, freestyle seeds are sown in the musical soil. The foundation is eclectic neo-soul jazz, which in the encounter with music, regardless of genre, creates a unique fusion with cosmic love as a guiding star.

Music is in her DNA, her father and uncle played bass and drums respectively in, among others, the psychedelic prog rock band Panta Rei in the 70s and her grandfather studied classical music and was a student of Jean Sibelius, even when the wars forced him to change plans, he never stopped composing and playing the piano.

SisuSoul carries that gift from her Finnish side of the family not only through creating music, but also in her power name, Sisu ; a Finnish word, name and concept of tenacity, fighting spirit and perseverance even in the face of obstacles that seem impossible to overcome.

With the spirit of sisu, she has been devoted to music even through trials and tribulations...through trauma, illness, isolation, she has kept her heart alive and has become a very good instrument, with many colours in her voice and poetic lyrics that touch eternity. Her healing, spiritual path, and the music, arts, literature and wisdom that she has immersed herself in through her journey echoes through her songs, which are the sum of the treasure she has found and manages.

With her songs, she inspires and gives joy, insight and encouragement, but doesn't shy away from the full spectrum of human existence, and her voice always has an element of blue minor.

Through authenticity and soul, she embodies the transformative power of music, soul work and sisu.
